To provide a lightweight suspension device miniaturizable in the radial direction.
This suspension device S is provided with a motion converting mechanism T converting linear motion of a linear motion member 1 into rotational motion of a rotary member 2, and a motor M connected to the rotary member 2 in the motion converting mechanism T. It is further provided with an air spring AS with a cylindrical air chamber 22 connected to the motor M, a cylindrical air piston 37 with a diameter smaller than that of the air chamber 22, which is connected to the linear motion member 1, and a diaphragm interposed between the air chamber 22 and the air piston 37. Moreover, it is provided with a stopper 38a in the outer periphery of the air piston 37, and a stopper receiver 46 abutting against the stopper 38a when it is extended to the maximum length having the air chamber 22 and the air piston 37 relatively separated, in the inner periphery of the air chamber 22.
