To provide a suspension device capable of achieving shortening of an entire length of the device without increasing the outer diameter while securing a stroke length.
This suspension device includes: an actuator A having a screw shaft 1, a nut 2 screwed to the screw shaft 1, and a motor M connected to the nut 2; and a hydraulic damper D having a cylinder 3, a piston 4 freely slidably inserted in the cylinder 3 and partitioning the inside of the cylinder 3 into working chambers R1, R2, and a connecting rod 5 freely movably inserted in the cylinder 3 and connected to the piston 4. The screw shaft 1 of the actuator A is connected to the cylinder 3 of the hydraulic damper D. A hollow part 1a communicated with the cylinder 3 of the hydraulic damper D is provided to the screw shaft 1, and an air chamber G and a liquid chamber L communicated with one of the working chambers R1, R2 are formed in the hollow part 1a.
