Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device capable of adjusting spring load of a suspension spring and improving a degree of freedom in layout.SOLUTION: The suspension device includes: a suspension spring 1 interposed between a vehicle body B and a swing arm A; a spring load adjustment mechanism 2 for adjusting spring load of the suspension spring 1; a wheel side mounting member 9 for connecting a wheel side spring receiver 6 for supporting one end of the suspension spring 1 to a swing arm A via a link mechanism 7; and a rotary damper 3 provided in a swinging section of the wheel side mounting member 9 and the link mechanism 7. The rotary damper 3 includes: a hollow housing 30; a shaft 31 which is rotatably inserted into the housing 30 so as to rotate in accordance with swinging of the swing arm A and elongation/contraction of the suspension spring 1; and damping force generation means V for suppressing the rotation of the shaft 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
