Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device that even when using a low-cost and small-sized rotation driving source, avoids excessive rotation speed and loads from being inputted to the rotation driving source.SOLUTION: The suspension device comprises suspension arms 12 which suspend vehicle wheels W to a vehicle body, mechanical dampers 14, and electromagnetic dampers 22 which are arranged in parallel with the dampers 14 and generate attenuation force by rotation driving force of motors 24. The electromagnetic dampers 22 have clutch mechanisms 26, and the clutch mechanisms 26 are provided so that clutches are released when displacement speed of the suspension arms 12 exceed a predetermined level. The clutch mechanisms 26 are constituted of counter-centrifugal clutches.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
