Title:
POWER STEERING OIL TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3107543
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of vortex flow of work oil within a power steering oil tank.
SOLUTION: A substantially cylindrical power steering oil tank is provided with a suction passage 12 at its lower portion and a return passage at its side surface. An inner cylinder 14 is vertically disposed from the top of a container 11 such that a rectifier plate 22 extending and protruding along the height of the container is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 14. As the rectifier plate 22 is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 14 for protruding, the oil flow turning in the circumferential direction is interrupted by the rectifier plate 22. As a result, the speed content of the oil in the circumferential direction is decreased, thus preventing generation of vortex within the container.
