Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device and a damper that are capable of suppressing the deterioration of riding comfort and steering stability when all motors fail even in a vehicle in which wheels are individually driven by the motors and reducing cost.SOLUTION: A suspension device S1 is provided with only three dampers (D1, D2, and D3) provided between a vehicle body B and wheels and mounted on an automobile V having the wheels (left, right, front, and rear wheels W1, W2, W3, and W4) individually driven by motors M. In this suspension device, one or more of the three dampers are arranged on both front and rear sides with an x axis set as a boundary, and one or more are arranged on both left and right sides with a y axis set as a boundary, with the gravity center G of the vehicle body B set as an original point, the x axis representing a straight line extending through the original point to the left and right sides of the vehicle B, and the y axis representing a straight line orthogonal to the x axis at the original point and extending to the front and rear sides of the vehicle body B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
