Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS55119511
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prohibit a tuck-in phenomenon of a suspension by constituting same such that radial elastic modulus of an elastic bush for attaching a suspension arm to a car body is decreased in accordance with an increase of the driving force.

CONSTITUTION: The suspension includes a bar-like suspension arm 1 which has a base end 1a thereof pivotally supported by a car body for rockable motion about an axis 3 by means of an elastic bush 2. The arm 1 has secured to a free end thereof a knuckle spindle 5 which supports a steering wheel 4 thereon. The arm free end is supported in the forward and backward direction of the car body by means of a tension rod 6 which extends in the forward direction of the car body therefrom and attached to the car body. A steering side rod 8 can turn, by its longitudinal displacement, the steering wheel 4 around the center of a king pin through a knuckle ball 9. The steering wheel 4 is driven by a drive shaft 10.
