Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dispense with a precision instrument such as a robot so as to reduce an installation cost, and improve the reliability of assembling accuracy by guiding the upper part of a shock absorber into the fitting hole of a body by a guide member.
CONSTITUTION: A body 2 suspended by a hanger 3 reaches a specified position, and the truck 112 of elevating mechanism 110 is connected to the hanger 3 to position the body 2. The connecting mechanism of the truck 124 is operated, and a grip part grips the hanger 3 to connect the truck 124 to the hanger 3. An elevating cylinder 134 is extendedly driven, and a moving frame is lowered obliquely. A horizontal cylinder 138 is extendedly operated, and an absorber guide 140 is positioned in a specified position below an absorber fitting hole formed at the upper part of a wheel arch. In the rising process of an elevating table 118, a guide cap put on the tip of each absorber 4s comes in contact with the inner wall of the absorber guide 140 and rises while being guided so as to be inserted into the absorber fitting hole of the body 2.
