Title:
SUSPENSION MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63235111
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stabilize the travel of a bogie on a rough road by providing a pair of guide bars extending in an axial direction on a steering axis and supporting the bars on a wheel support member via an energizing means in such a way as to be freely slidable in the axle construction of a bogie. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide bars 19 and 20 is provided on the second steering axis 16, extending in an axial direction and fitted to a guide member 21 secured to the axle 101 of a wheel 13 in such a way as to be freely slidable via springs 22 and 23, thereby constituting a suspension mechanism 14. As a result, the springs 22 and 23 work to energize the second steering axis 16 and the guide member 21 in a direction vertical and opposite to each other. Such axle construction is arranged at four positions of a bogie, at the right and left of front and rear sides. According to the aforesaid constitution, the wheel 13 is supported via the springs 22 and 23 retained with the guide bars 19 and 20 against a fall and the wheel 13 cannot turn about the second steering axis 16, thereby enabling the bogie to travel stably even on a rough road.
