To provide a suspension production apparatus capable of achieving production of a suspension having high dispersibility by utilizing ultrasonic waves oscillated from ultrasonic transducers.
In the suspension production apparatus 1, a stirring tank 3 stored with a solvent 2 mixed with powder is immersed in a storage tank 5 stored with water 4, and the stirring tank 3 is irradiated with ultrasonic waves from ultrasonic transducers 7a, 7b disposed in the storage tank 5 through water 4, thereby dispersing the powder in the stirring tank 3 in the solvent 2 to produce a suspension. The apparatus is constituted in that the ultrasonic transducers 7a, 7b are disposed at a plurality of portions in the storage tank 5 in a separate state from the stirring tank 3, and the stirring tank 3 is irradiated with two or more ultrasonic waves having different frequencies from the plurality of ultrasonic transducers 7a, 7b.
