Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension for a small-sized vehicle which reduces a bottoming frequency of a damper when loaded, does not impart such an incongruity as a busy feeling to a driver when unloaded, and can make a riding comfort of the vehicle comfortable.SOLUTION: A suspension for a small-sized vehicle comprises dampers A1, A2 which have cylinders 1, rods 3 movably inserted into the cylinders 1, and gas chambers G for pressurizing the inside of the cylinders 1, supply fluids into the cylinders 1 by pumping operations accompanied by telescopic motions, and adjust a vehicle height of the small-sized vehicle. The gas chambers G function as gas springs P which exert elastic forces corresponding to contraction amounts of the dampers A1, A2. The suspension for the small-sized vehicle utilizes the gas springs P as suspension springs for elastically supporting a vehicle body B of the small-sized vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
