PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension support structure of an automobile which can raise a position of an arm support part without raising positions of vehicle body structure members for supporting a trailing arm which is sufficiently reinforced, and excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: A suspension support structure of an automobile has: a support member 70 which is arranged at vehicle body structure members 11, 60, and supports a front end 51a of a trailing arm 51 so as to be oscillatory in a vertical direction; a reinforcing member 80 which is arranged at an upper face 71 of the support member 70, and forms a closed cross section A between the support member 70 and itself; and a bolt 74 which co-fastens the reinforcing member 80 and the support member 70, and an oscillating support shaft 78 of the arm 51. An upper swollen part 72 for accommodating the arm front end part 51a is extensively arranged at the support member 70 in a vehicle width direction, and the reinforcing member 80 is formed into a U-shape in a cross section which is downwardly released in a vehicle side face view, intersects with the upper swollen part 72, extends to the vehicle width direction, and is connected to the vehicle body structure members 60, 11 at its extension ends 85, 86.
