To provide a suspension system for a vehicle for varying rigidity of a part of a shaft.
The suspension system 1A is used for the vehicle. The suspension system 1A is provided with a hollow shaft 15 having an inner peripheral face, a head pipe 9, bearings 16, 17, and a rigidity variable system 18. The head pipe 9 is arranged around the hollow shaft 15, and relatively rotates with respect to the hollow shaft 15. The bearings 16, 17 are arranged between the hollow shaft 15 and the head pipe 9 and rotatably support the head pipe 9. The rigidity variable system 18 varies rigidity of a part of the hollow shaft 15. The hollow shaft 15 has support parts 151, 152 arranging the bearings 16, 17. The rigidity variable system 18 is provided with rigidity members 181, 182 and an adjusting system 183. The rigidity members 181, 182 are arranged in the hollow shaft 15. The adjusting system 183 brings the outer peripheral face of the rigidity members 181, 182 into contact with the inner peripheral faces of the support parts 151, 152.
