The suspension system of the vehicle includes a support bracket 26 having a section inverted-U shape in a vertical direction and supported to the car body 2 side, the elastic body 33 made of rubber and having an upper side 33a inserted into the support bracket 26 and a lower side 33b placed outside below the bracket 26, and the buffer 14 having the shaft center 13 extending vertically, the lower end side supporting a wheel and the upper end supported by the body 33. A space 45 is formed in a transitional part extending from the upper side 33a to the lower side 33b of the elastic body 33. When a large impact is applied to the elastic body 33 via the buffer 14 from the wheel side, the lower side 33b of the elastic body 33 is pushed into the bracket 26.
