CONSTITUTION: A knuckle N supporting wheels W is vertically movably supported on a car body through an upper arm UP, leading arm LE. lower arm LO, trailing arm TR and control arm CO. The free end of a leaf spring 17 disposed below a driving shaft 5 and the lower end of a damper 18 disposed above the drive shaft 5 are connected respectively to the lower and upper ends of a connecting member 21. The front and rear parts of a knuckle N are connected to the vertical intermediate part of the connecting member 21 bifurcated longitudinally to bypass the driving shaft 5.
