PURPOSE: To largely vary the chamber angle of a wheel in the negative direction by connecting the lower end section of a damping member and a car body by the second link and relatively enlarging the angle between the second link and the damping member while the damping member is not extended.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel 1 is supported by a knuckle 3 through a knuckle spindle 2. Two lateral links 5 and 6 as the first links are arranged between the lower section 3a of the knuckle 3 and a suspension member 4. In addition, a strut 7 as a damping member is extended in the vertical direction of car body. In such constitution, a control link 114 as the second link is installed between the external cylinder 7b of the strut 7 and the suspension member 4. While the strut 7 is not extended, the angle between the strut 7 and the control link 114 is made larger than the angle between the strut 7 and the lateral links 5 and 6.
