Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a turning radius to the smallest extent by making a suspension so as to be displaced according to a car speed and a steering angle, in case of the front suspension. CONSTITUTION:The detected car speed and steering angle are inputted each into a controller 54 from a car speed sensor 50 and a steering angle sensor 52. The controller 54 processes these data in accordance with the specified program, and when the car speed is more than the specified one as well as when the steering angle is less than the specified value or more than zero, a displacement signal to a displacement device 14 is turned to OFF. When the car speed is within the specified speed range and the steering angle is between zero and the specified value, the controller outputs the displacement signal to the displacement device 14, operating a control valve 26, and a suspension 10 is displaced. Thus, both specified ranges of the car speed and the steering angle are combined together, and thereby the displacement signal is outputted to the displacement device 14 according to this combination. With this constitution, a minimum turning radius in each running state is reducible and simultaneously an Ackerman achivement rate is made variable.
