Abstract:

To provide a suspension capable of effectively reducing longitudinal force inputted into the unsprung from a tire.

This suspension is constituted of a front suspension 3 provided with an arm 7 and an absorber 8, etc. and a rear suspension 4 provided with an arm 12 and an absorber 13, etc. Longitudinally elastic main shaft rigidity Kx, wind-up rigidity K, a damping coefficient C of each of the absorbers 8 and 13, a damping main shaft frontward-tilting angle , a longitudinally elastic main shaft dihedral angle , vehicle vertical direction deviation amount H of an unsprung center of gravity position and a longitudinally elastic main shaft A and vehicle longitudinal direction deviation amount L of the unsprung center of gravity position and a damping main shaft B in each of the front suspension 3 and the rear suspension 4 are determined so that the longitudinal force Fxf inputted into the front suspension 3 and the longitudinal force Fxf inputted into the rear suspension 4 may be canceled. The arrangement, etc. of the front suspension 3 and the rear suspension 4 is set.
