Abstract:
To provide an agricultural granular composition which keeps discharge for a long period of time while suppressing initial discharge of an agricultural active ingredient that is contained in a granule and causes decomposition and volatilization by heating.SOLUTION: In an agricultural granular composition, an agricultural active ingredient layer is formed by mixing an agricultural active ingredient with a granular carrier and then adding oil-absorbing powder such as amorphous silicon dioxide and mixing the mixture, and a silicone resin is formed by adding silicone oligomer and/or a silane coupling agent and a curing catalyst to the agricultural active ingredient layer, and the layer is covered with the silicone resin. The agricultural granular composition preferably contains a nonvolatile organic compound that is liquid at normal temperature as a binder, and has a particle diameter of 300-2,000 μm. In the agricultural granular composition, the agricultural active ingredient preferably has a vapor pressure at 20°C of 0.5 mPa or more and aqueous solubility at 25°C of 0.1% or more. In the agricultural granular composition, the agricultural active ingredient is desirably diazinon or thiocyclam.SELECTED DRAWING: None
