Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a suture needle and a suture needle with thread, and their production method that reduces production procedures and production cost.
CONSTITUTION: From one end of a hollow tube 2, a core tube 3 which is almost as long as the hollow tube is projected and welded to the hollow tube, a needle tip 1a is formed by a tip swaging, a blade is formed at the needle tip 1a by polishing, and the resulting needle is bent into a circular arc shape and is heat- treated, then finished to make a suture needle 1, and a suture thread 5 is embedded in the tail of the suture needle 1 to make a suture needle with thread 1A.
