Abstract:
To provide a swaging machine that can be used for a long time.SOLUTION: A swaging machine 10, which swages a rivet having a head part 1 and a leg part 2 onto a work-piece W, comprises: a stem 20 configured to be able to reciprocate in a direction which is orthogonal to the work-piece W, which presses the rivet against the work-piece W; and a roll set 30, arranged to oppose to the stem 20, which has a swaging concave part 33 that deforms the leg part 2 of the rivet. The roll set 30 is constituted of a base material having hardness which is three times or more of hardness of the rivet, in which a hard film layer 37 having hardness which is higher than hardness of the base material is formed on a surface of the roll set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
