Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate boss capable of solving problems in a conventional swash plate boss where a sliding fitting part with a driving shaft is partially hardened in high frequency or carburized as a whole, with the swash plate boss being used for a variable displacement type swash plate compressor, which is slide-fitted to the driving shaft in a state of being tiltable and displaceable, and slide-engaged with a rotor fixed to the driving shaft.
SOLUTION: This swash plate boss for the variable displacement type swash plate compressor, which is slide-fitted to the driving shaft in a state of being tiltable and displaceable, and slide-engaged with the rotor fixed to the driving shaft, is nitrided or sulphonitrided as a whole.
