Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the strength of a swash plate and make the swash plate thin by molding the swash plate of a swash plate type compressor with a fiber- reinforced metal composite material made by adding reinforced fibers to a metal.
CONSTITUTION: A swash plate 5 is molded with a fiber-reinforced metal composite material made by adding reinforced fibers to a metal. Carbon fibers, alumina fibers, boron fibers, glass fibers, etc. can be used for reinforced fibers. On the other hand, an aluminum series alloy is preferable for the metal, and an aluminum alloy made of 1W20wt% of Sn, a total of 0.1W10wt% of one or more of Cr, Si, Mn, Sb, Ti, Zr, Ni, Fe, W, Nb, V, Mo, Co as a hard material, and the remainder of Al, for example, can be used.
