To provide a swash plate type pump motor capable of supplying lubricating oil to the vicinity of shoes without forming oil holes guiding lubricating oil to a rotational shaft.
This swash plate type pump motor is provided with cylinder blocks 3 which are rotatably stored in a casing 4 and through which cylinders 2 are bored; the rotational shaft 4 rotating the cylinder blocks 3; pitons 5 stored in the respective cylinders 2 reciprocatingly; the shoes 6 fitted into each end part of the pistons 5; and a swash plate 7 on which the shoes 6 are slid. The cylinder blocks 3 have engagement parts 11 engaged with the rotational shaft 4 and cylindrical holes 12 which are continued to the engagement parts 11 and in which part of the rotational shaft 4 is stored. Oil holes 16 communicated with the cylindrical holes 12 and opened in the vicinity of the shoes 6 are formed on the cylinder blocks 3. The three oil holes 3 are formed at even intervals along the circumferential directions of the cylinder blocks 3 and arranged in regions between the cylinders 2 and the engagement parts 11.
