Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the swashing of the ballast water in a tank by installing a buffer plate whose upper edge is axially supported and lower edge has a buoyancy part, onto the inner wall of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A buffering plate 3 whose upper edge is axially supported and lower edge has a buoyancy part 4 is installed onto the inner wall 15 of a tank 5, and the part over the liquid level in the tank 5 is covered through the buoyancy member 4. Therefore, in rolling, the rise of the wave motion along the side surface of the tank can be suppressed, and the direction of the wave motion can be changed towards the inside of the tank, and swashing phenomenon can be effectively reduced.
