Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily generate a smooth sweep curved surface by designating an optional change rate curve with use of a shape change rate between the start and end in shape, then defining the curve. CONSTITUTION:A guide line is divided by a guide line dividing means 400 into the prescribed spaces. Then a change rate computing means 500 calculates the change rate of an interpolation line corresponding to the divided points from a change curve. An interpolation curve production means 600 produces an interpolation curve based on the change rate. Then the coordinate positions of the interpolation points forming the interpolation curve showing the section shape of a produced three-dimensional curved surface are stored in a memory M by a sweep curved surface data storage means 700. Thus it is possible to obtain a sweep curved surface generator which generates a sweep curved surface.
