Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the resistance of a flowing water, enhance fitting properties and secure a wide field of vision.
SOLUTION: This swimming goggle is constructed of a forward peripheral wall part 7 which forms an area in parallel with a lens face 12 within the range of at least, two third the diameter, in the horizontal direction, of the lens face 12 from the inner lateral end of the lens face 12 and 1 mm or more and 3 mm or less distant from the lens face 12, out of a lens peripheral wall part 6, and further, a curved face part 15 15 mm or more long, in the vertical direction and a side part 14 having an area 12 mm or more long, in the vertical direction, formed outside the forward peripheral part 7. In addition, the forward peripheral wall part 7 and the side part 14 are of a hard transparent material, and a backward peripheral wall part 8 and a cushioning part 3 are connected to the rear parts of the forward peripheral wall part 7 and the side part 14, so that the outer surfaces of these parts are flush with each other. Further, the inclined angle of the outer surface of the lens peripheral wall part 6 with the lens face 12 is 65° or less.
