Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the splash of a lubricating oil from being leaked even when a feed oil pipe to be mounted on an oil filler port for speed reducer lubricating oil is relatively short in a swing device such as hydraulic shovel.
CONSTITUTION: A cap 17 is screwed to the top end part of a feed oil pipe 10 mounted on an oil filler port for speed reducer lubricating oil. A cylindrical projection 17a protruded to the inside of the feed oil pipe 10 is formed on the bottom part of the cap 17, and a slit 17b is provided on the inner circumferential surface. A ring 18 consisting of an elastic material forming a small clearance with the inner circumferential surface of the feed oil pipe 10 is mounted on the cylindrical projection 17a. The splash of the lubricating oil scattered by the operation of a speed reducer is touched by the end surface of the cylindrical projection 17a and the ring 18, and rebounded. Since the clearance between the inner circumferential surface of the feed oil pipe 10 and the ring 18 is small, the splash of the lubricating oil can be prevented from directly reaching the bottom surface of the cap 17.
