To provide a swing roller swingable with simple structure and forming an inner ring and an outer ring of a rolling bearing or rolling elements of cylindrical rollers to be movable in the axial direction of the roller by improving the rolling bearing provided at a shaft support part of the roller.
The swing roller made swingable in the axial direction has a plurality of cylindrical rollers 14 as rolling elements between the collared inner ring 13 and the collared outer ring 12, wherein the width direction length of a surface, facing the raceway surface of the cylindrical roller 14, of one or both of the inner ring 13 and outer ring 12 of the rolling bearing 11 is made longer than the axial length of the raceway surface of the cylindrical roller 14, and the inner ring 13 or outer ring 12 of the rolling bearing 11 is made movable in the axial direction. The swing roller is mounted with the axially movable rolling bearing.
