Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a turning motion within body breadth via the application of simple constitution without using a complicated link mechanism, and easily avoid interference between a front structure and an operator's cabin during the turning motion thereof, regarding a swing type excavator.
CONSTITUTION: Regarding an upper slewing body 11 capable of revolving within the breadth of a lower travel body 10, a swing post 13 is erected at a position forward and sideward of an operator's cabin 12, and provided with a front structure 1 including a bucket 22, an arm 19, an upper boom 17, a lower boom 14 and a cross link 15. Also, the cross link 15 intersects a linear line drawn between the connection point of the booms 17 and 14, and the connection point of the boom 14 and the post 13, and the angular aperture thereof relative to the booms 17 and 14 is changed, depending upon the vertical oscillation angle of the boom 14.
