To stably hold a swing angle and improve the operability of changing the swing angle in a wrench, the head of which can be swung.
In this swing wrench, the base end part of a head 1 having a rotary engagement member 2 is fitted to a forked tip part 41 of a handle 4, so that the wrench can be swung in the direction intersecting perpendicularly to the direction of rotating the rotary engagement member 2. In the wrench, the base end of the head 1 is provided with recessed parts 3 formed at substantially equal intervals on a circular arc taking the center of rotation of the head as the center of curvature, and an operating member 5 is disposed between the base end of the head and the inner part of the forked part of the handle 4 to slide in the longitudinal direction. The operating member 5 is energized toward the head by a spring 6, and the head side surface thereof is provided with a projecting part 51 selectively engaged with the recessed parts 3 of the head. Both ends of the operating member 5 in the direction intersecting perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the handle 4 are provided with a sliding guide piece 53 projected to come into sliding contact with the outer surface of the handle 4 and also serving as a finger hook and a latch.
