PURPOSE: To decrease manufacturing by comparatively simplifying the form of a blade, and to improve aerodynamic characteristics so as to obtain high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating impeller 2 is stored in a circular casing 1 having an annular passage 1a formed on the outer peripheral part, and many blades 21 formed at equal spaces in the peripheral direction on the outer peripheral part are located in the annular passage 1a. Air is sucked in a vortex chamber 2a formed between the blades 21 through an inlet 11, and the air swirled and compressed in the vortex chamber 2a is discharged to a discharge port 12. The respective blades 21 are formed by a plate piece projected rectilinearly from the blade surface of the impeller 2, the inner ends and outer ends of the respective blades 21 are respectively formed in such a manner as to make designated angles α, β to a line L extended from the center of rotation of the impeller 2 in the opposite direction to the rotating direction of the impeller, and the whole of the blade is recessed in the rotating direction of the impeller.
