Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral gasket having more excellent sealability than a conventional spiral gasket using a filler on which mica pieces are laminated.SOLUTION: A spiral gasket has a gasket body in which a filler and a hoop material are overlapped, and the overlapped filler and the hoop material are wound in a spiral manner. In the spiral gasket, an integrated mica formed by laminating mica pieces is used as the filer, and a coating comprising inorganic particles and having a thickness of 0.3-400 μm is formed on the surface of the integrated mica.SELECTED DRAWING: None
