PURPOSE: To simplify the switch control and to ensure the general-purpose properties during the formation of an LSI, etc., by switching the dynamic program (DP) method to obtain the contraction/expansion matching of a nonlinear time axis according to the using purpose of an ordianry DP method and a consecutive DP method.
CONSTITUTION: A mode setting circuit 29 is driven by the control data Dc given from a control part provided outside plus the control signal Cm, and the signals a-CK and c-CK are produced at the output of the circuit 29. Then the data Dc is set to a standard pattern number register 20 and a standard pattern length register 21 respectively. After this, the signal L1 is delivered from a control number circuit 28 and by an instruction I of the circuit 29, and a standard pattern length counter 23 is preloaded. Thus a command J is delivered to a pulse generating circuit 27 from the circuit 28. By this command J the control signal CA that transmits an arithmetic data DA from a matching part is received at the circuit 27. Then the count clock e-CK is supplied to the counter 23 every time the signal CA arrives. And the matching method is changed between an ordinary DP method and a consecutive DP method.
