Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation command of a turn signal, an operation command of a wiper, and upshift and downshift commands of a transmission.
SOLUTION: A steering column 7 of an automobile steering device is provided with a first lever switch 3 which has a first operation lever 15 for commanding the operation of the turn signal in one side in the adjacency to a steering wheel 19 and a second lever switch 5 which has a second operation lever 17 for commanding the operation of the wiper in the other side in the adjacency to the steering wheel 19. The first and second lever switches 3 and 5 are characterized in being also served as switches for commanding the upshift of the transmission by pulling up one of the first or the second operation lever 15 or 17 in the direction of the steering wheel 19 and commanding the downshift of the transmission by pulling up the other in the direction of the steering wheel 19.
