Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device that is adapted to the transmission of the high frequency signal and is practical and highly reliable.
SOLUTION: The switch device comprises a channel filled with a conductive fluid and a non-conductive fluid. The channel has a ring portion. The conductive fluid is arranged at the ring portion, and a plurality of electrodes are provided separated from each other in the longitudinal direction of the ring portion. The switch device comprises a drive means for moving or changing the volume of the non-conductive fluid. By driving this means, the non-conductive fluid is spread in the prescribed position of the ring portion, thereby the conductive fluid is cut off or separated from each other and the electric path is released and at the same time, those conductive fluids that are separated at the different positions are connected anew, and a new electric path is composed by cooperating with a prescribed electrode.
