PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a detection switch where the height of the switch main body can be kept low while securing the spring characteristic of a changeover contact point made of a clip spring plate and the action can be stabilized by making the revolving center of an operation lever and a moving contact point consisting of a coil spring the same.
SOLUTION: The device is provided with a housing 1 with a storing part 1a, a common contact point 2 and the changeover contact point 3 that are provided adjacently to an inner bottom surface of the storing part 1a, the mobile contact point 4 consisting of the a coil spring where a first arm 4b is always in contact with the common contact point 2 and a second arm 4c is installed to be able to contact or separate from the changeover contact point 3, an operation lever 5 provided with an operating part 5b and maintaining the second arm 4c of the moving contact point 4 to be able to revolve and a cover 6 to cover a top part of the housing 1. In this case, the changeover contact point 3 is provided with a contact 3b that is bent in a clip shape where the second arm 4c is brought into a sliding contact, the contact 3b is formed to be in parallel with the inner bottom surface of the storing part 1a and a guiding piece 3d to guide the sliding contact of the second arm 4c by projecting above the contact 3b is provided.
