To provide a switch device which lessens spring energy for changing a contact closed state to a contact opened state and to provide a switch device whose switching action is made quick by reducing or obviating the load on a latch.
Energy required from contact closing till contact opening is lessened by adapting a spring load such that its value in a contact opened state is smaller than its value in a contact closed state by using, as a contact closing spring 81 of a switching device, a spring whose spring constant is not constant from closing till contact opening. Further, retension of a contact opened state is secured by using a spring which, in a contact opened state, exerts a load in the reverse direction to a load in a contact closed state.
