To provide a switch holder which provides a snap touch feeling without impairing the slidability of the switch.
The switch holder is provided to hold the switch such that a knob of the switch is slidable to-and-fro along the ON/OFF switching direction in a hole formed in a housing of an apparatus. The switch holder comprises: a bracket member formed to cover the hole and having a long groove that extends along the sliding direction; and a tab member for switch operation provided to be slidable with respect to the bracket member and having a socket to which the knob projecting through the long groove is fitted. The knob of the switch has first locking portions formed on both sidewalls along the sliding direction, and second locking portions to be engaged with the first locking portions are provided on opposing side edges of the long groove at both ends thereof taken in a position at which the first locking portions of the knob stop sliding.
