PURPOSE: To obtain a low-end high performance switch sub-system by providing a request server, a connection server and an affirmative response server which are operated in a pipe line system.
CONSTITUTION: The switch sub-system 10 is constituted of plural switch servers 12, data structure 14 and a cross bar switch 16 and the switch servers 12 are the request server 20, theconnection server 30 and the ACK server 40 which are functioned in the pipe line system. The request server 20 transmits a message to the connection server 30 at the time of connection possible or generates an adaptive ACK message so as to process a request message. The connection server 30 adds an operation to a request queue, executes connection and generates the ACK message when connection is completed. ACK 40 responds to the request message and transmits the received ACK message. Thus, architecture is obtained for the low-end high performance switch sub-system.
