This switch 10 is provided with an exterior member 12, a pushbutton 16, a fixed contact 18, and an electricity conducting torsion spring 20. The pushbutton 16 is provided in the exterior member 12 so as to move in the direction of its plate thickness, and the fixed contact 18 is positioned and provided in the direction of travel of the pushbutton 16 in the exterior member 12. The torsion spring 20 has a twist part 202 and a movable part 206 extending from the twist part 202 so as to face the fixed contact 18. The twist part 202 is mounted on the exterior member 12, and the movable part 206 is linked to the pushbutton 16 and is energized so as to leave from the fixed contact 18 at all times. When the pushbutton 16 is pressed and operated, the movable part 206 comes into contact with the fixed contact 18.
