To provide an inexpensive and small-sized switch which is used for opening/closing an electric path of a high-voltage distribution line, by performing improvement.

The switch has a main body case, and in the main body case an opening/closing mechanism and a switch composed of a fixed electrode and a movable electrode. An electric path is opened and closed, by integrating a lever attached to the rotating shaft of the opening/closing mechanism portion and the movable electrode with a uniting member, rotating the movable electrode with the opening/closing mechanism portion, and bringing it into contact with the fixed electrode or separating it from the fixed electrode. In the switch, the lever is made from insulating synthetic resin, and is composed of a cylindrical portion where the lever is inserted and fixed to the rotating shaft, and a lever portion projecting from the cylindrical portion. Moreover, an insulating barrier is provided on the inner surface of the main body case on a rotating shaft side between the movable electrode and the rotating shaft, so as to have an opening in a part where the lever of the lever passes and cover the cylindrical portion of the lever and the rotating shaft.
