Abstract:
To provide a switch superior in conductivity with improved design freedom.
The switch includes a housing, a pair of fixed terminals separately arranged from each other in an inner space of the housing and connected to an outer circuit, a movable terminal mounted in the inner space of the housing and composed of a liquid or semisolid magnetic contact material, and a magnetic field controlling means which controls a contact state of the pair of fixed terminals and the movable terminal by controlling a magnetic field around the movable terminal. The magnetic contact material includes magnetic particles and a dispersion medium containing the dispersed magnetic particles.
