To provide a switch such as a slide switch of high durability capable of stable switching operation even if it is reduced in size and thickness.

The switch includes a movable contact-point terminal 14 containing a movable contact-point that comes into contact with a fixed contact-point, and an operation body which is housed in a housing to be movable in a direction between fixed contact-points. The movable contact-point terminal 14 includes a base part 30 which is supported by the operation body, and a pair of elastic contact pieces 31a and 31b oriented opposite each other in the fixed contact-points direction, at both end parts in the fixed contact-points direction of the base part 30, in staggered arrangement in which they are biased to different sides respectively. The elastic contact pieces 31a and 31b include elastic support pieces 34a and 34b which have a shape oriented in one direction of the fixed contact-points direction from the end part of the base part 30, and contact-point support pieces 36a and 36b which have a shape being folded back to a fixed contact-point side from the tip side of the elastic support piece to be directed in the other direction of the fixed contact-points direction. Movable contact-points 13a and 13b are formed at the other end parts of the contact-point support pieces 36a and 36b.
