Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that makes it possible to fix a switch to a mounting base without increasing the housing size in order to ensure a space for the formation of a mounting hole.SOLUTION: A switch comprises: a mounting hole 12 used for mounting the switch on a device mounting face; and a plurality of terminal parts. The switch is mounted on the device mounting face such that a handle 1 is oriented upward. Among the terminal parts, at least one terminal part, which is used as a first terminal part 2, is formed so as to be located on the right or left side below the handle. Another terminal part, which is used as a second terminal part 4, is formed so as to be located between the first terminal part 2 and a vertical axis orthogonal to the rotary shaft of the handle, above the first terminal part 2, and deviated from the first terminal part 2 in the width direction of a housing composing the switch. In the space defined on the right and left sides of the second terminal part in the width direction of the housing, as a result of this deviation, grooves that are open facing the right and left side faces of the housing are formed as the mounting holes.
