Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain low power consumption and high circuit integration of a switched capacitor circuit by using a capacitor comprising plural capacitive elements connected in series as the circuit component to decrease the total sum of the capacitive elements without deteriorating the sensitivity of the components.

CONSTITUTION: The titled circuit consists of an operational amplifier A1, two capacitive elements C1, C2 connected in series, a capacitive element C3 and switches SW1, SW2. The transfer function T2(Z) is expressed in an equation I, and when C1=C2 is applicable, for example, the transfer function is expressed in an equation II. In selecting the capacitors as C1=C0, C3=Cf/2, the sensitivity of the transfer function T2(Z) with respect to the capacitive element C1 is expressed in an equation III. Thus, the element sensitivity is made equal by the equations I, III, and the capacitor C1 is decreased until it is equal to the capacitor C0. The capacitor C3 in this case is Cf/2 and the total sum is decreased.
