Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce small signal output impedance of a linear amplifier by following output power fluctuation of a switched mode assist linear (SMAL) regulator.SOLUTION: A SMAL regulator (200) includes: a switched mode converter (230) which is constituted to supply load current; and a linear amplifier (210) which is constituted to supply the regulated load current, and to supply load current which is not supplied by the switched mode converter (230). The linear amplifier (210) and the switched mode converter (230) are coupled with each other in parallel in a supply node, cooperate to perform control so that the linear amplifier (210) and the switched mode converter (230) supply load current (I), and the linear amplifier (210) sets load current (V).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
