A switching apparatus 20 has an outer circumference face 22c for enabling a knob operation and comprises a rotatable first operation member 22, a second member 21 disposed as surrounding the outer circumference of the first operation member 22, and a third operation member 23 of which the assigned functions are changed corresponding to a lifting or lowering position of the first operation member 22, wherein, a first state that an outer circumference face 22c of the first operation member 22 is exposed from the second member 21 and the exposed outer circumference face 22c is operable by a knob operation, and a second state that an outer circumference face 22c of the first operation member 22 is almost completely surrounded by the second member 21, are switched over by a predescribed operation.
