To shut off the energization of a switching element by detecting overload on respective switching elements in a plurality of switching controllers mounted on the same substrate and having load currents different from each other.
This switching controller SC is formed so that MOS-FET packages 50L, 50S may turn on/off power supply to a large-current load LL and a small-current load LS by means of an ON/OFF signal outputted by a MOS-FET controlling means 30. A protection circuits 40L, 40S detect the temperature of the MOS-FET packages 50L, 50S and shuts off the power supply when the temperature rise up to the prescribed temperature or more. Voltage controlling circuits 34L, 34S control the voltage of the ON/OFF signal inputted in the MOS-FET packages 50L, 50S and change an on-resistance to change a heating value.
