Abstract:
To propose a switching device and a cover member that enable safe and easy attachment and removal of the cover member.SOLUTION: A switching device 100 switches the operation of a plant 200. The switching device 100 includes: a rail member 130 extending substantially in a horizontal direction; a plurality of switch elements 10, 20 mounted on the rail member 130; and a cover member 110 covering at least some of the plurality of switch elements 10, 20. The rail member 130 has: a substrate part 131 for fixing the rail member 130 to a fixed wall W; and an upper rail 133 connected to an upper end of the substrate part 131 and protruding forward. The cover member 110 has: a front plate 111 for covering at least some of the switch elements from the front; and a side plate 113 for covering the switch elements 10, 20 from a side. The cover member 110 is made of an electrically insulating material or has an electrically insulating treatment on its surface. A rear part of the side plate 113 is provided with an engagement part to which the upper rail 133 is engaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
